Photovoltaic panels producing
electricity
Photovoltaic
technology makes use of the abundant energy in the sun, and it has
little impact on our environment. Photovoltaics can be used in a
wide range of products, from small consumer items to large commercial
solar electric systems.

Saving energy—and money—doesn't
have to take a lot of time or effort. In response to the recent increase
in energy costs and demands, the French Government has announced
a national campaign to promote energy-saving activities that everyone
can do now (Ademe) .
You can save 10-50% on your home energy bills by making some energy
smart improvements to your home. The key to achieving these savings
is a whole-house energy-efficiency plan which requires
viewing your home as one system with individual parts.
TECHNYK installs solar photovoltaic
systems (electricity from the sun light) on existing buildings or
new projects.
Different systems for different needs
| Stand alone power system |
| To be installed on those remote geographical areas where there
is no electricity provided by the utility (chalets in the mountains,
island,...). Solar panels are then transforming the solar energy
into electricity which is stored on batteries before being used
by any appliance. |
| Grid connected power system |
Grid
connect PV systems are often integrated into buildings, for
example PV roof tiles are now available which can be fitted
like standard tiles. PV can also be incorporated as building
facades, canopies, shading structures and sky lights.
The electricity produced by this solar generator is totally
sold to EDF for a very attractive price (up to 55 cts.Euro/kWh
(*) for those solutions where the system is integrated to the
building). These panels
generate DC electricity from the sun’s rays and send
it to an inverter which is mounted inside the building in a
convenient location. The inverter converts the DC power into
240 volt AC electricity – identical
to the power drawn from the grid. (more
